Come with me, far back in time, to the era of dinos, to a Land Before Twine! 🦖
In this series of amigurumi crochet patterns designed to go with our board game, Lava Run, we’re taking it all the way back to the Jurassic and crocheting a heard of mini dinosaurs and a volcano bag to put them in!
If you’re new to crocheting, check out Crocheting 101: How to Crochet for Complete Beginners or start with the beginner-friendly Triceratops project. The dinosaur projects have varying difficulty levels so you can improve your skills as you go; be sure to check the difficulty level before starting and use the video tutorials for help.

The Materials
Here are all the materials that we’ll be using for this series of projects.Â
- 6 Balls of 100% Cotton Yarn – 200 ft each
– Brown, Orange, Yellow, Cyan, Teal - 1 Medium Ball – White 50ftÂ
- 2 Mini Balls – Pink and Black 25ft
- 6mm Safety Eyes x 10
- 8mm Safety Eyes x 10
- 12mm Safety Eyes x 10
- 1 Keychain
- 3 Pipe Cleaners
- 2 Stuffing
- Size G6/4.00mm Crochet HookÂ
