01Main
[Starting in Orange]
Ch 2 or use magic loop method
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or into magic loop (6)
Rnd 2: inc (sc 2) in each st around (12)
Rnd 3: [sc 1, inc] repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: [sc 2, inc] repeat 6 times (24)
You can keep increasing rounds here for a larger pumpkin
Color changes for making the Jack-O-Lantern version start here, ignore the color changes at the end of the Rnd to make a normal pumpkin.
Color Changes:
For color changes with Color/Color (ex: 1 Red/Blue), make the first pull through with the first color (Red), and next with the second color (Blue)
Rnd 5: sc in each st (24) [5 O, 1 B, 4 O, 1 B, 13 O]
Rnd 6: sc in each st (24) [5 O, 2 O/B, 3 O, 2 O/B, 12 O]
Rnd 7: sc in each st (24) [4 O, 1 B, 2 B/O, 4 O, 2 B/O, 1 B, 10 O]
Rnd 8: sc in each st (24) [5 O, 2 O/B, 4 B, 3 O/B, 10 O]

You can repeat Rnds 9 and 10 to get a longer pumpkin.
If you increased more after Rnd 4 you’ll need to decrease more as well.

Cut yarn leaving a fairly long end, stuff, and sew closed.
02Creating the Segments
Now using a long piece of orange yarn begin threading around from the bottom to the top of your pumpkin 6 times making segments. Pull tight and tie together on the bottom.
03Vine
[All in Green]
Rnd 1: ch 1, m.p (ch 2, sl.st into the rst ch made), ch 1, m.p, ch 1, m.p, ch 2
Cut yarn, ch and pull through, leaving a somewhat long end to sew onto the main section.
04Stem
[All in Green]
Ch 4, Working into the back loops, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sl.st in each ch down.
Sew the stem and vine onto the Main Section.
