To add a stripe of purple replace Rnd 10 with this Round of half color changes in purple You can also embroider on a purple stripe (see video at 00:00 for detailed instructions).

Working in both loops, sc in first st from Rnd 12, slst in next st, cut yarn, pull through and hide the end.
Add a golden buckle by embroidering with Gold Yarn around the Purple Stripe.
I use 4.0 or 4.5 for most of mine and it turns out just fine. I really struggle with small hooks
Can i use a slightly bigger hook?
