Beach Ball Color Chart Pattern
Overview
In this tutorial, we’ll be crocheting a beach ball and using my new amigurumi color chart! This pattern is perfect for beginner crocheters to learn how to best do color changes for amigurumi. It’s also great for experienced crocheters to learn how to use my new amigurumi color chart!

Abbreviations
Color Chart Key
Border = Stitch Type
Look at the border of the square to signify the stitch used

sc = Single Crochet

invdec = Invisible Decrease

dec = Decrease

bo = Bobble Stitch
Brackets = Where to work the stitch

Boxes connected by brackets signify where that stitch is worked into (ie. worked into the same st)

inc = Increase (worked into the same stitch)

BLO = Worked into the back loop only (furthest loop)

FLO = Worked into the front loop only (closest loop)
Color Key

Look at the colors in the square to determine the color of the stitch.
Solid bordered squares with two colors require a half color change. Make the first pull through,
completing the previous stitch, with the first color (Red), and next with the second color (Green).
The number above of the box is the stitch number in that round (ie. 10 = stitch #10).
Other Notes
Look at the border of the square to signify the stitch used

Magic loop method
Cut the yarn and pull through. Stuff fully and sew closed.
Try stuffifing your beach ball with beans to make a hacky sack! I had the most success using a funnel and black beans.
