Update Now Live!
Hey there!
Behind the seams, me and the Club Crochet® team have been hooking up something new, and I’m excited to say, Club Crochet®: Untangled is now live!
This is a big new update to Club Crochet® with some new features, events, and ways to crochet. Let’s start with the new feature that gives this update the name, our Untangle system!
Now on Club Crochet®, in addition to getting our patterns from purchase and membership, you can also Untangle patterns by using credits! These Untangle Credits permanently unlock designs on the site, giving you access to their downloadable PDFs, video tutorials, and digital instructions forever.
Untangle credits can be received in a variety of ways, such as community events like livestreams and giveaways, for purchase via memberships and bundles, and through achievements on the website, such as completing patterns and secret challenges! We’re designing more ways to get Untangle credits which will be in future updates as well!
Another new feature on the website out now is the Pattern Palette! This new header bar follows your progress throughout a patterns digital instructions and includes tools needed to help you never miss a stitch. Quickly access a designs photos, videos, abbreviations, and other helpful information.
The Pattern Pallet is currently only available on mobile devices, but we’re adding it to desktop in our next update, and will be regularly updating it with additional features soon.
You can now add your own pictures to a project’s photo collection on the site! View community submissions in a pattern’s photos and at the bottom before the comments. You can also view community submissions from the Club Crochet® home page!
Community submissions can be submitted anonymously or hidden from public view, and are reviewed by our admins before posting. Once your picture has been accepted it will be added to the photo library, and the pattern can be marked complete!
These aren’t just for brownie points either! Completed Patterns will be used for our next feature, your Pattern Punch Card, and some future features coming soon!
One fun new feature on our site is the Pattern Punch Card! Every time a pattern is marked complete using the button at the bottom of a lesson or in the Pattern Pallet, it will be counted on your Pattern Punch Card. Once you’ve completed 5 patterns on the site you’ll receive a bonus Untangle Credit to use on the site to unlock a new design!
You can only complete one Pattern Punch Card each week, and all your completed patterns must be reviewed before you can receive your reward, so don’t go upload a picture of your Grandma as a T-Rex, we’ll know!
You can view your Pattern Punch Card progress from your Account page.
Camp Crochet is a member exclusive livestream design-along where we learn in-depth about a specific crochet technique, then create new crochet patterns together in real time. Participants can share their work, swap ideas, and be part of the design process as a new project comes to life!

Membership Updates
We’ve changed our membership options on Club Crochet® to work with our new system and added a new membership tier!
!! Existing members before the update will get the same perks at the same price they’ve been paying. Active members on the old Pattern tier have been upgraded to the Designer tier at no extra monthly cost !!
Pattern Membership cost has been increased from $5 to $5.99, this is our first ever price increase since we launched our memberships in 2016. Pattern Members receive 3 Untangle Credits each month to use on any designs in the library, discounts in the shop, and even get access to our new member exclusive event Camp Crochet.
Designer Membership is our new tier that gives users unlimited access to the library, bonus credits each month, and bonus designer courses. They also get access to Camp Crochet and will get beta access to some features we’ll be releasing soon!
Season Pass Bundles
Another new option for getting access to Club Crochet® patterns is with our Season Pass Bundles. Now you can purchase an entire bundle of our past seasons and get 5 bonus untangle credits to use on any additional patterns on the site!
Season Pass Bundles are the best way to dip your toe into the Club Crochet® and try out a small collection of the library. We update with new season’s twice a year, and in a future update we’ll give you the ability to pre-order future seasons at a discounted rate!
