03 Berry Crust

To make the crosshatched berry crust, use a separate strand of Beige yarn threaded on a needle and sew on one row of crust along the top of the pie.
For small pies, I make 3 rows and for a large pie, I make 4. Make sure your rows of crust are an equal distance away from each other. Then sew on the perpendicular columns of crust weaving in and out of the rows.
If done correctly you should end your sewing somewhat closely to the original strand. Double knot on the inside and cut.
