tail = ch 4, skip 2, hdc 1, slst 1, ch 3, skip 2, hdc 1, slst in the same st as the previous slst to connect
fin = ch 3, skip 2, hdc 1

Magic Loop

Rnd 1: sc 8 times into the magic loop (8)

Rnd 2: sc 1, inc 1, sc 2, bump 2, sc 1, inc 1 (10)

Rnd 3: sc in each (10)

Note: For the tail and fins, work in the back loop of the chs for a cleaner edge.

Rnd 4: sc 2, tail (ch 4, skip 2, hdc 1, slst 1, ch 3, skip 2, hdc 1, slst in the same st as the previous slst to connect), sc 3, fin (ch 3, skip 2, hdc 1), sc 4, fin, sc 1 (10 +tail and 2 fins)

Rnd 5: working around the tail and fins keeping them on the outside, sc in each (10)

Rnd 6: invdec 2, sc 6 (8)

Cut the yarn leaving a long enough end to sew closed and pull through.

Add eyes in the center of the sts around the bumps in Rnd 2.

Use a small amount of black yarn to embroider on a nose over the bumps in Rnd 2.

Stuff fully, and sew closed by working into the FLO for all the sts from Rnd 6.
