Welcome to the

You’re up for the challenge. Learn how to crochet in 30 days or your money back!

Isn’t this free though?

Oh yah… okay well then how about if you learn how to crochet in 30 days or less (and prove it), you get a bunch of exclusive patterns and projects to make once you’re done.

Yah, that’s fair.

Alright, cool. Well then let’s start hooking!

How this works

The Classes

This challenge is split into 10 days of classes.

Each crochet day you’ll be learning a new technique or two.

Give yourself 1 hour at least to practice the lesson, you’ll need to really understand the technique before moving onto the homework.

The Homework

Yeah, I know, there’s a little homework, but how often do you get to wear your homework, or play hackie-sack with it?

After class you’ll be expected to complete one project before the next lesson.

The Test

The last 3 days of class are reserved for your final project, a crocheted beanie.

You’ll be asked to submit a picture of your final project to receive your exclusive patterns. Don’t worry, we won’t share it anywhere without your permission, but I encourage you to post about your progress with #30DayCrochet.

This not only will let you share your new found talents with your friends, but encourage you to continue on in the lessons.

Some other important stuff

The Materials

You’ll need the following materials before you get started. You can get them at your local craft store or you can purchase the Crocheting 101 Kits with all the materials you need (and a super cool sticker)

1 Ball / Skein of Worsted Weight Yarn (Preferably cotton): This is your test yarn that you’ll be using for practice and small projects.

1 Ball / Skein of Medium Weight Yarn (~175 yards): This is the yarn for your final project, a beanie. So try to get warm yarn like wool.

1 Size G6/4.00mm Crochet Hook: This is the hook for your test yarn (the first yarn).

1 Size I9/5.50mm Crochet Hook: This is the hook for your final project.

1 (or 2) Darning Needle: This is for sewing stuff together and hiding in loose ends.

Stuffing: This is for one of your projects, you can also use dried beans if you don’t have any stuffing.

Stitch Markers: You can also use a spare thread of yarn or string as a stitch marker if you don’t have a plastic one.

The prizes

When you finish Crocheting 101 you’ll be asked to prove it with a picture of your final project.

When your project is accepted you’ll get access to 5 exclusive patterns to make!
