Adding details to your amigurumi using embroidery is tricky, but even trickier when you already have the piece stuffed and sewn shut! In this tutorial I’ll show you how I embroider details like rings, scars, and warts to my amigurumi when it’s already sewn shut.

The Pattern

01Rings

Thread gold or silver yarn on a darning needle. Enter the already stuffed character from an adjacent stitch to where you want the ring.

Exit the piece and enter back in to a different stitch then where you exited from.
