The Pattern

01Lip
[All in Green]
Ch 8
Cut the yarn and pull through to sew on the face.
02Tooth
[All in White]
Ch 2
Working into the BLO of the 2nd ch from the hook, sc 1
Ch 1, cut the yarn and pull through. Sew the tooth onto the side of the lip once sewn on the face.
03Crocheted Nose (optional)
There are 2 options for the nose.
First is crocheting it separately and sewing it on. If you are beginner, this method is recommended.
The second is to use a stitch I made up called the Spiked Bobble. Doing the Spiked Bobble Stitch saves a decent amount of time, but the stitch can be really tricky to get right. Skip to the Body section for this method.
[All in White]
Ch 2 or use the magic loop method
Rnd 1: work 3 sc in magic loop or 2nd ch from hook (3)
Rnd 2: working into the BLO for the 1st st, inc, working in both loops, sc 2 (4)
Sc 1, sl.st 1, cut the yarn and pull through. Sew to face between the eyes.
04Body
[All in Green]
Ch 2 or use the magic loop method
Rnd 1: work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or into magic loop (6)
Rnd 2: inc in each st (12)
If you’re sewing a nose on:
Rnd 3: [sc 1, inc] repeat 6 times (18)
The Spiked Bobble Nose (sbo)
Step 1: Work 2 double crochet into one stitch, leaving the last loop of each on the hook.
Step 2: With the loops still on the hook, work a mini picot (ch 2, sl.st into the 2nd ch from the hook)
Step 3: Work 1 more double crochet into one stitch, leaving the last loop of each on the hook.
Step 4:Yarn over and draw through all the loops on the hook.
If you’re using a Spiked Bobble Stitch for the nose:
Rnd 3: sc 1, inc, sbo, inc, [sc 1, inc] repeat 4 times (18)
Rnd 4: ear (ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from the hook, sl.st, sc, sc), sc 9, ear, sc 9 (18 +2 ears)
Rnd 5: working around the ears from Rnd 4, sc in each st (18)
Rnd 6: sc in each st (18)
Rnd 7: bo, sc 7, bo, sc 9 (18)
Add the eyes in Rnd 3. Sew on the nose between the eyes. Sew on the lip between the ears and add the tooth on one side of the lip.
Rnd 8: sc in each st (18)
Rnd 9: sc 2, bo, sc 4, bo, sc 10 (18)
Add any details you want now like rings and hair before you sew decrease and sew it closed. To find extra add-ons see the Goblinoid bundle available at www.ClubCrochet.com/GOBLINOID
Rnd 10: [sc, dec] repeat 6 times (12)
Embroider on a belly button “X” on the tummy in Green. Stuff slightly.
Rnd 11: dec in each st around (6)
Cut the yarn, stuff and sew together.
05Loin Cloth
Embroider on a loin cloth using Brown yarn. I like starting from the back and working around to the front, covering the groin section, then working back around to the back where I can double knot it. See the video for more detailed instructions.
