The Pattern

01Color Chart Key
Border = Stitch Type
Look at the border of the square to signify the stitch used
sc = Single Crochet
dec = Decrease
invdec = Invisible Decrease
mbo (mini bobble st) to add a nose in stitch 4 (*optional)
bo = Bobble Stitch
Brackets = Where to work the stitch
Boxes connected by brackets signify where that stitch is worked into (ie. worked into the same st)
inc = Increase (worked into the same stitch)
BLO = Worked into the back loop only (furthest loop)
FLO = Worked into the front loop only (closest loop)
= Worked into both loops and the BLO from the Rnd before.
Color Key
Look at the colors in the square to determine the color of the stitch.
Solid bordered squares with two colors require a half color change. Make the first pull through, completing the previous stitch, with the first color (Red), and next with the second color (Green).
The number above of the box is the stitch number in that round (ie. 10 = stitch #10).

Adding the Face:
Start by adding the eyes. If you want them to be white try painting them with some fifinger nail polish, white out, or use a bullion knot with white yarn. Both eyes go in Rnd 7 The right eye goes in stitch 2, and the
left goes in stitch 6. Try to get the eye into the center of the stitch, it helps to use a darning needle poked through and twisted to create space to more easily fifit the eye into.
You can use an extra strand of Green yarn sewn from behind the eyes to create bags under the eyes or an angry emotion. I usually do one different than the other to give my Zombies more character.
Now add teeth with White strands below the eyes by simply embroidering it using a strand of White yarn. Then add a lower lip under the teeth with a strand of Green yarn.
For the hair cut strands of Brown yarn and double knot in the center. Pull this through two seperate stitches at the top of the head and cut short(ish). The double knot should prevent the yarn from being pulled out of the stitches. Make sure the hair is a little patchy.

Embroider on a rib over Rnd 11, sts 8 and 7.

Cut the yarn, and pull through. Stuff fully sew closed.
