The Pattern

01Head
[Starting in Green]
Ch 2 or use magic loop method
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or into magic loop (6)
Rnd 2: inc (sc 2) in each st around (12)
Rnd 3: [sc 1, inc] repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: sc in each st (18)
Rnd 5: Ear [ch 4, starting in the back loop of the 2nd ch from the hook, sl.st,
sc 2], sc 9, Ear, sc 9 (18 +2 Ears)
Color Changes:
For color changes with Color/Color (ex: 1 Red/Blue), make the first pull through with the first color (Red), and next with the second color (Blue)
Rnd 6: sc 10 (working around the ears) [2 Beige/Green, 5 Brown/Green, 3 Beige/Green]
Rnd 6 (cont'd): Split*
Pull through with a second strand of Beige yarn,
Working in Strand A: Working in FLO, sc 1, hdc 5, sc 1, leave loop here and go back to loop B.
Working in Strand B: Working in BLO, sc 7. Cut and pull through, go back to loop A.

02Adding Face
Start by adding the eyes. Both eyes go in Rnd 5.
The right eye goes in stitch 2, and the left goes in stitch 7.
You can use an extra strand of Green yarn sewn from behind the eyes to create bags under the eyes or an angry emotion.
Now add two hair patches in Light Grey yarn over the ears.
You can also add wrinkles with Green yarn on the forehead over the eyes.
03Body (Cont'd from Head)
Bobble Stitch
1. Yarn over, insert hook into stitch
2. Yarn over and pull through
3. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops
4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 four times total
5. Yarn over and pull through all the
loops on the hook
For color changes in Bobble Stitches:

Rnd 7: bo, sc 7, bo, sc 9 (18) [1 Green (bo), 3 Beige, 4 Brown, 2 Beige, 1 Green (bo), 9 Beige]

Add a Staff or Light Saber here (see next sections)
Rnd 9: Working in the BLO for the Beige sts only, [sc, dec] x6 (12) [All Brown]

Cut yarn, stuff, and sew closed.
04Cane
[All in Brown]
Ch 4
Working into the BLO of the chs, skip the first, sl.st into the next three chs.
Cut and pull through leaving enough to sew onto Yoda’s hand.
05Light Saber
Take half of a lime green pipe cleaner, fold it in half and twist it. Insert the
two ends into alternating stitches next to the hands.
Using a strand of Light Grey yarn on a needle, come out of the spot that you put the pipe cleaner in, wrap the bottom of the pipe cleaner, and put thread the yarn back into the body to knot it together on the inside.
