06Border Stitches

[All in White]
Ch 16

Cut and pull through, you’ll sew this onto the shell and around the limbs and head.

07Sewing Together

For sewing the piece together I highly suggest you check out the video.

Start by sewing on the arms and legs around the belly (stitches in sand) and onto the edges of the shell. You should try to work only in 2 stitches on the belly, and keep 3 stitches apart between the arm and leg, you’ll be working into these stitches when you add the border.

Then add the tail between the legs. Don’t work into any belly stitches.

Sew the head between the arms, also not working into the belly stitches.

Finally, sew on the border stitches. Start on one end of the base of the tail, going around the legs, arms and head and back down to the other side of the tail. Sew together using the back loops of the chains.

  1. Thank you so much for this cute pattern I laughed so much because I thought about the sunglasses too (just rewatched the series) and I wonder if you ever got to crochet them? Greetings from switzerland
