Smak the Ogre
Description
Just north of Mogsbee, beyond a labyrinth of fog and trees, you’ll find a clearing with a stump in the center, and the silhouette of something big leaning over it. Oh, it’s just Smak, counting the dots on a ladybug! This cuddly ogre isn’t too frightening unless you’re smaller than a boulder. Smak’s best friend is his giant wooden club, Stik, which he found just standing up in the dirt for free! It just needed some branches removing and a couple of whacks against a hobgoblin’s head, but now it’s perfect and never leaves Smak’s side.
Louie Note
Smak was the first of my goblinoid creations. It was originally based on a cave troll from The Lord of the Rings, but in my world, trolls need noses, and these felt much more of the ogre variety. I’m especially happy with the shaping in the feet and legs. Ogres were the first design in which I used bobble stitches for toes, which I now use quite frequently in my patterns!
