Barnaby the Walrus

Description

As you wash up on the shores of the Frilly Frost Fjords, you’ll see a collection of beautiful ice sculptures carved into the sides of the icebergs floating by. These were designed by an amazing local artist, Barnaby, a walrus who carves these works of genius by moonlight using his own tusks. It’s a true wonder and has brought a lot of tourists to the fjords who want to witness these masterpieces before they melt away in the spring.

Louie Note

This design includes so many different techniques—all intended to make a somewhat complicated character easy to crochet! Between the bobble stitch muzzles, the shaping for the body, and being very nearly a no-sew design, this walrus honestly has no right being this fun and easy to make.
